Dr. Michael Owusu is a bioanalytical chemist specializing in mass spectrometry-based peptide characterization. After his joint PhD program between University of Ghana and Harvard Medical School, he developed novel LC-MS/MS methods for quantifying therapeutic peptides in biological matrices. His lab has validated over 50 peptide bioanalytical methods for FDA/EMA submissions. He also leads capacity-building initiatives for analytical chemistry in West Africa.
